Our small, discreet, human waste macerator marks an advancement in patient-centric waste control. The new Solo can easily integrate into any private patient room, ICU or Isolation Unit.

Its user-friendly design ensures that practitioners can quickly dispose of Vernacare pulp utensils and their contents. This closed system reduces unpleasant odours, while managing infection control risks for both patients and practioners by containing everything to a single room.

The Solo improves patient care and caregiver experience:

• Able to fit in patient's washroom to contain patient infection outbreaks
• The Solo's closed system eliminates airborne bacterial debris
• Practioners are protected from aerosolization, which occurs when hopper sinks are flushed

Vernacare's disposal units should be centrally located to the beds they are going to service and require the following utilities:

• Electrical supply:  110v, 15 Amp Breaker.  No supply wire included - hard wire in
• Cold Water Supply:  Flex Line to be connected to Shut Off Valve with ¾"G.H.T. Stub
• Waste Drain:  1.5" p-trap to be connected to 2" dedicated drain
