CHICA-Canada National Education Conference

CHICA-CANADA (COMMUNITY AND HOSPITAL INFECTION CONTROL ASSOCIATION-CANADA), in partnership with Vernacare, is pleased to announce it will present the first Vernacare Lecture at the CHICA-Canada National Education Conference (Toronto, May 29-June 2, 2011). On June 2, 2011, the Vernacare Lecture will feature Dr. Michael Gardam, CHICA-Canada Physician Director, presenting Hot Topics. The content will be announced at a later date.
CHICA-Canada President Anne Bialachowski said, "CHICA-Canada's annual national education conference has become the premier Canadian educational event for Infection Prevention and Control Professionals (ICPs). Through a strong collaboration with Vernacare, CHICA-Canada is pleased to be able to provide attendees with a overview of the impact of current infection prevention and control issues on health care, the science behind them, and the outlook for their management. This is an exciting step forward in the relationship between CHICA-Canada and Vernacare, one of its original Corporate Members."
Glenn W. Duncan, Canadian Business Manager, Vernacare Canada Inc., said, "Vernacare has a long standing working relationship and dialogue with CHICA Canada and its members across Canada. The National Conference provides us with a perfect venue to up-date the membership on our products and services. We are pleased to take our relationship with CHICA to a new level and look forward to a continued working relationship with the board and its membership. In turn, we trust this lecture will provide the membership with another educational vehicle that will keep them current on the new trends and research within Infection Control on a National and International level.
